Gavin's Craiglist Camaro
Hey guys, kinda new to the site. Ive been a lurker but not all that active. After seeing all the help and knowledge you guys offer to other progress threads, I decided to finally archive mine. But I'm sixteen and it is my first car so this is all kinda exciting and new but here it goes....
So about the end of July-early August 2011, I saw an add on craigslist for an "81 T-Tops Camaro-$3000." This would have been the 4th Camaro I would've went to look at with my dad (kudos to him). The other 3 were fairly rusted, sketchy, or overpriced. The Craigslist post had only been up for 2 days and the guy needed it gone to buy a new house. I went in with low expectations and left hitting the jackpot.
 <---Craigslist photo
How could you not love this at first sight??? Haha
Like I said, I've been lurking and not really posting my progress for a while but its time to start. Ill try to space them out.
Progress in a nutshell

Photos look good and hope as you dig deeper into the car, it all is as solid as it looks!
What are you plans for it and if you don't mind sharing, what did you pay?
And by the way, welcome to the forum!

your car is very very very purdy looks like a great find. Seems these cars are going up in value, i would have expected that to sell for half the money, good to see they're starting to get appreciated!

Looks like you have a lot to start with. It doesn't look like anyone has ever wanted to make it into a race car and tossed everything out of it. And the big thing it doesn't look like it is all rotted out. Very good score. What are the plans for it?
