Thanks Mgoad. I hope all is well on the family front. All I need to do now is figure out how to build and enter data onto it. I think I came up with needing 144 slots for 12 years with 12 months. Maybe even adding more in the future to compare Norwood to LA cars.

You can always save it as a PDF file. Not sure if it will work but it is a usable file in alot of applications.

just put all of it into an excel file.. next export it to a comma delimited file.
then one of our computer guru's can pull it into a relational database fairly easily.
from there the sky is the limit....
an online page that does sequel searches.. etc will make it a very valuable block of data.

Once we get about 1 car for each month of the years 70 thru 81 we can close it,and I will orginize the numbers and submit them as a list. It would be cool to keep a simple list so that people who are looking to weed out VIN and trim tag swapped cars can have a little referance. The cars wouldnt need to be anything special, and you could even comb Ebay or other internet sites and take info from cars that look credible. When done a list of 144 cars containing only the very short amount of info needed shouldnt take up very much space at all,and could probably be condensd into 1 or 2 poists on the tread. Then it could be sticked so we could be the go to guys for yet another piece of 2nd gen info.

So what do you all say??

I just want to put this out there. I realize the intent of this is to help others. However, Due to fact that there is a company that provides repro trim tags no questions asked, I fear it will help the cloners figure out how to "replace" cowl tags. I have seen this done before with Nova's, and even reported it to ebay. This is a great site, with great people willing to help others. I don't mean to criticize, just wanted to offer that viewpoint.
