Howdy!
Howdy everyone, thought I'd poke my head in here. My Z is almost back on the road - I put a 2500 stall in last weekend but ran out of time to button everything back up. Maybe I'll get some time this weekend. Anyone thinking of going to the Golden Cruise in July? I've never been, but sounds like fun.

Hey guys it has been a long time since I posted online here but I had a lot of ex wife issues and all that along with a deployment to Afghanistan and my Camaro was stolen. Now I am back and settling in but I am with out a Camaro. I am looking to see if anyone here in CO knows where I could find a 75-77 type LT or RS or my real dream a 77 Z28 that is. I want a restoration starter it can be rough I don't care I would love for it to run now and have some of the major components but I have an engine at the very least I don't care if it has a torn up interior I will replace it but I really want to get back into the Big Bumper life. I am hoping for about a 2000.00 price tag. Less is more and all that. I am going to a Automotive school so I have good resources to restore one of these things. Have a 1978 Scottsdale C-10 with no engine for trade if it helps make a difference for a price deal I guess.

Hey PF, I've been thinking about hitting that Golden Cruise, not sure the plans yet for the first Saturday of July, got some fire duty coming up. I've heard some of the businesses aren't liking the parking lot space being taken up, so it sounds like a lot of cars show up.

I just traded two tranny cores (and cash of course) for a rebuilt turbo 350 and torque convertor from Ram's Transmission in Northglenn. Anybody ever deal with them? Figure I can't go wrong at a place called Rams...GO RAMS

you should have better luck, than the place I used. If I knew what I know now I wouldn't go near all american transmission. That what that place does, think people will forget about them ripping off people. Thats why I post warnings on cl so other people don't get burned like me.

does anyone know if i can pass emissions on a 1980 z if i take the air pump out for headers?? i have heard they won't pass you if your car came with an air pump and you take it out. i really want headers but need to pass the "equipment check". Same with the EGR, any ideas?

I believe that you can only modify to what was factory available for your cars' model year, and that you must pass the emissions standards required for your year and model.
Sure have had a front row seat for the High Park fire out here! I've been watching all my old stomping ground go up in smoke. And choking in it too.
Todd.
