Almost another month has gone by, and I haven't had time to do much with the Camaro. Work has been really busy, and I have been building my barn in my 'spare' time, so at least the Camaro will have a place to come home to. Did manage to get the shifter installed and adjusted.
The barn so far:

im not sure if your air intake is temporary or that is your final design, but I would advise to try to move it out of the direct path of the radiator. The IAT's will be real high in that location and the LS motors like to start pulling timing. Just a heads up for ya!

Agreed. I had reasonable results with the air filter on the left (driver's) side and a plastic panel to create a "cold air" box. However, I finally had much better results with a 4150 EFI intake feeding off my raised hood.

Thanks, but yes that is just temporary for now until I get the front clip on and everything back in the car so I can try to come up with a better plan

That may be something I look into in the future, As it will be getting a cowl hood. In the meantime I may be interested in your 'Old' intake
