Thanks, these boys really know how to paint.
The car is like yellow glass, not a flat spot ,drip, speck, sag or run anywhere.
I went over the car for about 45 mins and couldnt fault it

Spent today getting the windshield and rear window trim ready.
Rubbed it all down with wire wool and sprayed on the primer and had a bad paint reaction from the 3 coats of black/red/purple underneath, they bubbled up like crazy
Spent the rest of the day with the wire brush attachment in the drill stripping them all to bare metal ready to paint again tommorrow !

Home at last, now the fun begins !
The headlamp bezels and grilles look a bit naff as they are all held in temporary with silver wood screws and both the marker lights got smashed in the paint shop.
Just swapped out the door handles for some repops, really nice fit.

Looks like these boys are cracking on with it though, I'll be watching with interest!
All the best.

Good build. I too had mine in paint jail for 18 months back in '93. I've since done a lot of mechanical stuff to it but am afraid to get it painted. Your spray job looks stunning. Did they get overspray on the engine, frame, or suspension? I'm thinking I'll have to completely (frame off) strip mine down and put it on dollies to get her painted....

thanks for the compliments,.
These boys were very careful with the overspray ,they even sprayed out the sides of the engine bay and inner fenders in matt black to tidy it up and sprayed inside the arches with black stonechip.
Just got to get the windshield and rear window fitted properly, glass fitter started rushing and set them in too low....back out next week
