If all 3 are the same color chances are someone has already done some re-wiring. You might have to back-trace along the wires to see what color they were (look for splicing/electrical tape). If you can't figure it out you might have to trial and error it.

Hopefully no electrical tape If you find that, remove it immediatly and crimp splice it!! You will have to trace the wiring back to find out where the wires go. A good ohm meter with audibal contunuity checker is a big help.

have traced the wires back and there is no electical tape or no splicing of wires it looks like they all go to the fuse box one of the red wire comes out and then goes to the altenator and to the ac and than to the starter just like the wiring diagram shows and it shows another red goes to the starter it but i have 3 reds (the altenator, starter, oil pressure switch wires all go to the same place in the cab)

Positive battery cable to large post on starter solenoid. If I remember there should be another wire that goes to the same post as well (the clue here is the hole in the connection will fit the post). There should be another 2 wires that also go to the starter solenoid too, the 2 smaller posts. Which goes to which, again, if I remember right is determined by the size of the hole on the connector...or not. Being an a/c car there may be another wire that could go someplace else but I don't know. The positive cable and the larger wire hooked up should give you power to all the lights. The smaller two are strictly for the starter solenoid.
