Questions about OER Dash Carrier

I have a really nice original 73-78 dash carrier I planned to use in my 71 but it has a defogger cut-out which I really don't want

I'm curious if the OER 70-72 replacement dash carriers all come with the hole already cut out for the defogger?

All of the pictures i have seen look like the hole is cut out

Can anyone verify this if they have bought one?

Honestly I would rather have a good used original that i can recolor w/o the defogger hole but those are hard to find sometimes...usually something is broke or cracked on them.

Another option is to use a plastic repair kit or a plug on mine to fill the hole...but I would rather avoid that if I can.
