It's called a Stand Pipe- it keeps the raw fuel from going into the charcoal canister when you're parked at weird angles, etc.
It was on all 71 and up cars, and 1970 California cars.

I cant see why not! But my fuel system is nowhere near stock or emmisions compatible now!

not Vortech........Vortech are cast iron, mine - aluminum  actually they are the Corvette Aluminum Cylinder Head Assembly part#12556463
