Vortechs are too aluminum, but they're superchargers not heads. 
My vortecs are heavy as hell though.

Don't sweat the paint chip. Once you get one or two, it takes the pressure off a little. Pretty soon you'll be leaning shovels against it and standing on the hood to reach stuff on the top shelf. |
