new motor dynoed finally

specs:

- 4 bolt 468 cid bbc
- ported LS6 rec. port heads 325cc 2.19/1.88 valves (headflow unknown)
- 1.7/1.7RR girdle etc.
- 12.5:1 cr, forged domed pistons
- victor 454-r manifold, light plenum work/matching.
- 850cfm holley carb
- 262/272 @.050 .708/.708 106LCA solid roller cam
- 2-1/8" to 3.5" headers
- msd pro billet dist. and ignition
- CSR electric water pump
- wet sump system with windage tray, moroso pan etc.
- custom plate, 200hp jetting
- C12 race gas

this is going into my 79 camaro, ladder bar coil over setup, 3600lb with a sbc, 3700+ now. 8" converter about 4500 stall, 4.10's , 28x10.5's. cant wait to see what shes got in her, motor and on jug. going to have to do my comp license this year, last year with my 355 sbc i was 134mph, 1mph off from needing it. this has over 100hp and tq n/a and about 200 more hp/tq on jug.

yeah real nice numbers,especially with that cam, not exactly a nitrous cam.
but looks like he hit the button around 3800, a little early for my taste.
(can be hard on parts)

You know its good when the N/A chart the torque STARTS at 500FT/LB LOL

Looks like it a little more than a 200 shot though man, you tryin to be sneaky??

Nice #'s for sure, better go get that license...and some SFI pants...and shoes while your at it.

its a 200 on the plate, .052 x 2 nitrous jet if i can remember correctly.

why is the motor numbers customer Steve and the n20 customer Jason?
the motor pull says 454 and the n20 says 468...........confused

they forgot to edit the info. look at the date and time. both pulls still have my file name, jason.

By the looks of the vacuum, I would be tempted to beg/borrow/steal a larger carb. Given the difference between the 2 sheets, you'll be hard pressed to run the car N/A once you've made a nitrous pass.

yea i know that 850 on there is sucking hard. eventually ill move up to a 1000 or maybe make the jump to a 1050 dom.

Yeah, I was a little confused/concerned about those vac. readings,.....
I've never seen a motor under carbed at 4800 rpm and pulling 2 inches at 6400... it's only a 468 and shouldn't be neer that high with an 850....
did they have a "bell" attached to the carb to measure the airflow?
