Today was a good day, I got the trunk floor braces and inner rear body off the old pan and primed them, finished bolting in my engine and headers and came accross a deal on a 75 Camaro I will use for some parts like seats, fenders, doors, etc.. I'll post some pics of it later and what parts I can use.....
With that thought can anyone tell me what major parts are inter-changable with a 75 to a 73?
This is what I need, and think they will work:
Body: Hood, fenders, complete doors, inner front wheel wells
Interior: Headliner, sunvisors, dash pieces
mechanical: Brake booster and lines and such, gas tank, exhaust maybe

Can anyone tell me if these will work and what else may inter-change
Thanks
Mike

Well I came across another deal, I'm going to trade my M22 for a 2002 T56 6speed. So if anyone has done this before let me know ok. I'm bolting to my 69 350 block.
Thanks..Mike

There is a either a 1/4" or 1/2" difference between a standard trans, and a ls1 trans. But they do make a adapter for ls1 trans to first and second generation small block engines.

Well not too much happeniing yet since I am waiting to get the donor car delivered. I did weld the truck reinforcements to the floor pan section and welded in the trunk floor and splattered painted it the black/white instead of the normal white/black/grey. Its actually came out ok.....lol...I also picked up a great used set of Michellin tires 285/35/18 for the rear and 255/35/18 for the front so at least the rear will look more beefy than the 245's. Hopefully I will do more this weekend....

Tire update..

Ok heres a few pics with the Michellin Sport tires on:
Rear's 285/35/18
Front's 255/35/18

I like the look alot better especially the rear....the goal is slam the car at least 2"-3"

Wheels and tires look sharp... Your trunk pan turned out real nice, how bad was it to put in? Did you get the donor yet? What parts do you need off of the donor chevy? Keep up the good work... one day at a time... There will be light at the end of the tunnel some day lol... Rob
