the rod for sure - but I need to see what you found in the trunk and a shot of the fire wall behind the driver's cylinder head. I'll scan the AIM for you once I know what you have.

You could get a Lokar set up and do it up after market style.

There should be a list number on the air horn of the holley. It's not a stock piece (GM never used that sort of Holley). If I were you I decide the basic direction I want to go with the car before I invest too much time (and money) trying to make it run this way only to decide I want it stock later - know what I mean? Did you pull the Trim Tag info yet?

No cable in '69 unless an L6 car.

Or like this?

I have this picture of the engine bay

I dont really have eny religion regarding the setup on the car, since it has already been altered a lot I just want it to fuction properly.

Regarding the trim tag, I decoded it a found out the following:
build date: 9 of sept 1969
model year: 1969
Model: coupe
Assembly plant: Norwood
Interior trim code: Red Standard
Body color upper/lower: Red

Engine: (V0526TRH)
V8 350cui from 1972

The Holley is a basic 600cfm 0-1850 vac-secondary 4-bbl with an electric choke as far as I can see. Hmmm Carb spacer? Looks like a Holley Street Dominator single-plane intake like a spare one I have (the Holley design mechanical choke heat blockoff plate on the pass side is a giveaway)...

They put a HEI on the car too...

My guess is they couldn't get the stock pedal linkage to work with the Holley and improvised. The thermostat housing is off a '75 or so BTW...

Got some experience replacing missing parts...

No, not necessarily. This piece

slips through this piece

and then the piece you are missing "clamps" on.

Here it is for a cowl induction car

You can see where the rod slips through and the bolt that one would tighten. CI has it for $16.95 here: https://www.classicindustries.com/controller.cfm?type=product&action=productDetail&p roductId=88957&productSearchCatalogId=1

I doubt your car came from the factory with cowl induction but you have the hood now (is it steel?) so you could set it up to work.

I think you will have no trouble making the stock linkage work with that Holley (I've seen it done numerous times). As you can see above, there are a lot of rods to choose from. We'll just have to figure it out.

that's really funny - I have a '69 Norwood built convertible (not on my signature list) from about the same date and, get this, red exterior with red interior. Can you email me a picture of your VIN and Trim Tag please? flowjo68@cox.net

Thanks guy, actually my wife found it while browsing around on the internet, some car dealer here in denmark bought it from a guy in the States working with "movie cars", and then I went there with my father, and we made an offer and he accepted. I think he made some good money on the sell, but Im just happy to have the car in my possesion now

what would a car like that cost in the States? aprox?
