More updates.

Find some rust at top of the trunk.

Fixed.

I finished the trunk, it needs to be cleaned and primed, maybe next week.

PS I need the trunk torque rods/ springs, if you have a set for sale, please send me PM.

Thanks,
Ezekiel

Drivers side rocker panel

I was working with the drivers side rocker panel, it was very rusty, so I removed all rust and weld a rocker panel skin and I like the final results.

Now I am installing the doors, fenders and hood to set all the gaps before I weld the quarter panels, I'm struggling with the hood a little because it sits higher than the fender when it's close, I'll post pics of this later.

Thank you guys for take your time and see my progress thread.

Thank you guys. I can say that my car is rust free now, but there are some welds I need to do to finish the metal work and then start with the body work. In two weeks I'll be on vacation, thats the time I need to finish the metal work. Will post more pics soon of body panels alignment and issues I having now.
Thanks again.

Some progress...

I've been trying to put the car together, but to be honest, to make does gaps look correct is a PITA. After I installed all doors and fenders I noticed that the passenger door was a little off from the rocker panel, so I took the fender out and fixed the problem, then when I bolted the fender I noticed that the gaps (fender to door) at top was correct and at bottom too, but the fender body line, was like 1/8" out. After almost a day taking the fender in and out, adding shims forcing the fender to fit, I got the same results. I was about to surrender when I thought that It would be a good idea to make a small cut in the inner structure of the fender and spread it a little, I did it and "voila" it fits perfect. Here are some pic of what I have done so far.

Now I'm working with the driver's side quarter skin, I hope finish this soon.

Thank you guys for watch my progress thread.

Ezekiel
