I could watch my temp climb while waiting for lights at intersections and then cool down while driving to the next light. When I got stuck in traffic it was game over, probably took years off the engines life cycle. I can't wait to try this out. I wasn't planning on a toggle switch as I don't think I need one with the Dual fan relay I got from Hollister.

I put toggle switches in so I can turn one fan off. If I am in the heat of the summer, I will need both fans. But for the most part, I can just use one fan, and see how it works. My car isn't a every day or traffic driver, so I shouldn't have to worry about traffic jams (i hope). I did put a inline fuse on them.

I see what your doing now, that's a really good idea. Less wear, less amp draw and spike. Which fan do you plan on running full time left or right? I am considering this now too

I have no idea which one. But I will most likely alternate fans. Less wear and tear and both. I will get a couple of pics in a minute of what I did.

I bought them off ebay. The guy i bought them from was doing the vinyl lettering for all the chevy cars. But I have not seen them on there lately. You can just get a set of aluminum valve covers and get someone to make you the vinyl lettering.

The lettering is still on there, and still looks good. The color hasn't faded off yet. Not maybe in time, the lettering will burn off. But for now, it's still there.

Thanks... I kept changing my mind on color too but I'm happy I went with the gunmetal. That aluminum gauge cluster on bill81's car looks like the same one I am getting off eBay. I am getting 5" center's with 2 1/16" on the sides. I was thinking of try to incorporate the tach w/shift light into the dash but my Auto Gauge tach has a black face and my other gauges are ultra lights with silver faces. I don't want it to look mismatched so I think I'm going to have to buy a new tach and speedo to fit with the new cluster. I thought maybe two black faced in the 5" holes and the rest silver faced but I'm not sure. I don't even know if a 5" pedestal tach with the light removed will fit in holes I am getting with the new bezel.
