Excuse me, just curious, are you sure that is a '71?
Front seats looks like '70 (low back and separated headrest)....

Most certainly am sure its 71, sixth digit on vin is a 1 not a 0. Seats were probably swapped sometime in its life, but thanks for clarifying that up for me i couldn't figure out what those seats came out of.

Ok, 1971! Well, from the photo I don't know for sure if the seat are really of a Camaro 1970, maybe also similar other's car seats.
I'm a bit informed about that 'cause in my '70 happened the same but in the other way!

Well finally got around to taking my subframe to work to sand blast it. Should have some paint on it this time tomorrow, I'll post pics when I get them. Did anybody elses have bb's all over like mine did? I had to grind all that crap off, considering I'm a welder I couldn't leave that on there lol

Well finally got my subframe blasted down this afternoon and coated in epoxy primer. This is actually the first time I've ever put a paint gun in my hand, our painter at work gave me some pointers and threw me at it. Props to you guys who do this for a living, I'll just stick to welding haha like what I got it hangin from? Talk about a engine hoist, 5 ton overhead lol
What color do ya'll usually paint these, flat, satin or gloss black?

Been awhile since I've updated this thread. Since I've had this car I bought a nice 78 yellow z28 and sold it last week to finish this build, as of now I'm workin on new floor pans and have brand new front sheetmetal. Also had bought a lq4/4l80e which got sold and I came across a 5.3/4l60e and yesterday it got put in the machine shop. I'm still deciding on what I'll do wth it, maybe bore it out to a 5.7 but who knows. I'm hopefully going to be updating this more often now because I want to atleast be driving it by October so I'm crossing my fingers on that.
