Finally got to workin on my pans again today. Got some of the rust cut out and replaced under the toe board of the floor pan and fit the new pan in. This is my first try at this ever and I ended up cutting a little too much out in some spots but I'm gonna get it all fixed up where it won't be noticeable.
New piece bent and cut

Welded in

New pan sprayed with weld thru primer ready to get welded in place, that'll probably be next weekend though.

Got my passenger pan welded in today for the most part. Still have to fab a piece for the toe board but that shouldn't take me too long. Let me tell you I dont know how you guys stay sane spot welding these body panels together lol I'm a welder by trade and this is the first body work I've ever done and I can tell all this spot welding is going to drive me nuts, I'm use to getting on something and welding it out not spotting here and then spot there. Anyways, how do ya'll go about treating the back side of the seam where it crosses the floor pan brace that I didnt remove? Do ya just leave it or do ya'll normally take that brace out?
Happy New Year to everyone as well!

I grinded a grove on the lips so i could weld both the panels together and to the lip. the area between the lips i just left for a butt weld. i made sure i had good penetration in that area. On the underside of the car, i welded areas that didn't get any full pentr. I just sprayed the frame rust inhibitor in the braces to make sure everything had some paint on it. BTW, i sprayed epoxy on the inside of the braces before i put in the new floor pans. I also was a welder and i hate the spot welding also.

No updated pics yet. The car is at my parents house so I don't work on it as much as I'd like, soon as I finish my shop I'll start workin on it more. Progress is super slow, but hey Rome wasn't built in a day, right?

Ground up is where the panda came from I couldn't find what company made them though, fit pretty good I'd say. Yeah it would look good on that black camaro with the fender flares that would top that mad max look off lol
