Shes Alive!! first startup today. I installed the pypes violators backwards and did not like the sound. ended up turning them around the correct way after the video and it sounded much better. more of a deeper tone than a tingy metal sound.
heres the vid. We will be wiring the car and cleaning everything up in the next few days. Burnout videos to follow in a few days!!

well, no burnout video's this week. I misplaced my connector for my DBW gas pedal and cannot find it. Had to order one online and it wont be here wuntil after I leave to head back to PA. Looks like it wont get to drive for a few more months now

Sorry for the lack of picture updates. heres what we have on our camera.
Basically have the car pretty much ready to go to the body shop. all the wiring is where it needs to be, just needs to be cleaned up with some with some wire looms but its good enough for now.
Did get to take the car out yesterday real quick. it has a ton of power when you open it up. I've got an issue to figure out with the throttle pedal (DBW) but other than that, im super happy with it so far.
And, the Pypes violator catback sounds badass. very impressed with it

ordered a new brake booster as we found out ours is Junk.
Have to clean paint inside floor, install some dynamat, get the door hinges rebuilt, fit all of our body panels, then its off to the body shop for some color!
Cant wait to see it come together

Wow, Car is looking awesome, and sounding awesome, good job Andrew!
The wires are a bit jumbled but I'm sure your gonna do your best to tuck them up and out of site.
What was the reason on the cam and springs getting pulled did you do a cam swap ? If so I would like to know some details
Are those heads 243s or did you go l92 ?
Great to hear you ran it I'm sure its a insane beast. Cant wait to see it with some new skin what color did you decide on ?

We installed a Vengence Raing VXR5 cam and some patriot dual valve springs, hardened pushrods, etc. hoping to put down about 420 on the rollers once we get it tuned.
As far as the color, after we painted the airbox, we decided we wanted something a little lighter. The original color we had ended on was BMW Dark Graphite Metallic II, but after painting last weekend, we decided to go with the Cyber Gray Metallic that GM is spraying on the 2012 Corvette. Should look real nice.
Im hoping the car will be off to the body shop here in the next 6 weeks.

Sounds like a nice setup cant wait to see some driving and burnout videos !
420 to the wheels should be no problem with a setup like that. Many guys are getting that with an Ls1.
Cyber gray Metallic sounds awesome I cant wait to see it ! I choose argento nurburgring its a ferrari silver
Keep up the good work

Sorry for the lack of updates. Still waiting to get into the body shop but should be soon. Only updates are we installed a chromed brake booster and got the wiring issue figured out with the DBW pedal assy. Took the car down the road for 1-2 quick drives and I must saw its pretty wicked but is going to be a blast to drive this summer
