1973 thank you. I'm moving along pretty well. I reinstalled the dash. I hate the dash pad cap I installed.

Got some great news!!! The painter I wanted is going to paint the car. He is the best around!!He teaches auto body and paint during the day and takes high end paint work at home. He will be taking some parts and prespraying them for me.
I made a panel to hide the fire wall. This needs to be installed prior to the motor. He will also paint the wheel wells and rad support. I will then install the motor and bring him a running car to be painted. She will be "torrid red" Witth SS style black stripes.
the panel

Nice job on the car. Should look great. If you are looking for the door and solenoid for the air induction hood I have the original ones off of my 81 Z. I have it listed in the swap meet section. I will be willing to take an offer if you are interested.

I sent the firewall delete panel, the wheelwells and the rad support out to the painters. I also dropped the mirrors, headlite buckets, spoiler off also. I'll be getting the "under hood parts" back next weekend. Then I'll install motor trans, etc. I'm excited to hear the overhauled motor run!! And see red!!
