No stink here from Peel and Seal and my exhaust is very tight to my floorpans. There was more odor in my car from all the panels I dyed than anything else. The stuff works great and conforms to all the nooks and crannys. Oh yeah, its VERY affordable!

Yep, thats it. I picked up like 4 or 5 rolls and went to town. I covered from toe boarsa all the way up to the rear speaker deck.

I regret not doing the roof, and doors, oh well. It still made a HUGE difference.

did you have to clean or sand the floor prior to laying it down?
if so what did you use?

What he said, just give it a good cleaning. I POR15'd my whole floor before I did mine, it wasnt rusty or anything but I figured it couldnt hurt.

Is it necessary to do POR-15 on it if it's getting covered up? And what if I ever want to do a frame off restore? Could I leave the stuff on ?

I did the POR cause I had some left over from a previous project. My floorpans had been replaced at some time but were never painted so I figured putting the POR on would just seal them up tight and never have any rust issues.

Heres what they looked like when I started

Heres what it looked like after the POR application and before I put down the Peel & Seal

Thanks, I swear by that stuff! You will notice in the last picture I had just finished the trunk seperation panel and its shiny cause its still wet, if you look at the floorboard in front of the backseat that the color it dries to, kind of a semi-flat black.
