The car looks worse in the pictures than it does in person. Or at least that's what I keep telling myself. The good, solid frame rails, doors, trunk, trunk lid, roof, front pillars, rockers, and dash and firewall.
The bad needs lower quaters, trunk extensions, lower front fenders, floor boards and work around the back window channel.
The 400 engine has a complete rebuild along with headers, a mid size cam and a 650 holley carb. The tranny is a turbo 400 with a shift kit and every seal replaced. pics to come.

Is this the salvage yard refugee your MIL loves so much? ;)

I haven't seen it since the engine/tranny fell into place a while back.... I'm patiently awaiting the pics, Rob! :D

[IMG] It was fun getting the tranny and engine combo in with a hoist that was to small.

Yes, it is. I will have more pics this weekend. The PMD rims are on the car and I just got a brand new set of BF Goodrich tires for free. They are the TA touring stlye but they will do for now.
I located the correct stock air cleaner along with the stock chrome valve covers.

Rob get those d@rn headers installed that i repaired for you yet;);)

Was thinking about them and the trouble you are having getting them to the seat against the head.... How about building up the port holes flange area a little with welding a bead around them and then grinding to fit. Just a thought.

Rick, I was thinking the same thing. I need to check again but I think it's only the front two exhaust ports. I was also wondering if there is any two part metal mix that might work. It would be sandwiched in between the gasket and head but I think the heat would be to much.
