Question: Okay guys, Camaro gurus... school me. Which horn shroud (emblem) did the 70 RS/SS come equipped with when ordered with deluxe interior?

Your horn shroud should have the woodgrain insert and a SS emblem.

I've always been told my RS/Z is correct having the RS emblem on wheel and thought the same rule applied for RS/SS cars also... Anybody ??
Of course the woodgrain would be needed on a custom interior also.

This is what I thought too. Sooo... an RS emblem would be incorrect for an RS/SS car unlike the RS/Z28, which is correct.

Okay, now... what about a standard SS, non RS model? Bowtie or SS emblem?

This is what I know. A standard Z28, non RS model would be equipped with a bowtie emblem. Right? Right.

I know plenty about the Z28... I would just like learn more about the Super Sport model.

Thanks guys for all your input.

If you have a standard Z/28 the shroud emblem is a bowtie.

If Z/28 with RS it get's an RS emblem.

If you have an SS Camaro no matter what model, standard or RS, the emblem is an SS.

The SS model just like the years before overrides any other model and gets the appropriate emblems.
