anybody in the area going to either the PIR or Expo center swap meet? as a vendor or shopper?
I have been thinking of going as a shopper...probably for just a day (Saturday)....still waiting to see how some other things pan out first.
i might go as a shopper too and look around. Might go Friday morning or Saturday. I would also like to sell some stuff but i don't have a spot and not sure if i can get the 10 bolt rear end off in time
I have a crew coming over from Richland on Saturday. We are hoping for a dry day!
For those who have been to both, how do the two events compare? Which one would have the most Camaro/muscle car oriented stuff? - Dale
I have been to the Portland Swap meet many times. I would have to say that there is better quality "stuff" at the expo than at the PIR race track.
Over all I have NEVER found any restoration parts of any significant rarity/value.
This part of the USA never was and still isnt a good place to hunt hard to find NOS or excellent used G.M. muscle car parts.
IF you can stay home and earn money doing something else youre better off shopping on EBAY or the Internet in general and finding what you want.
Given the cost of fuel, lodging and road food it isnt worth the aggravation.
What do you guys need?
Im going to Monroe as a vendor with a 24' car trailer full of second gen stuff, all years, and firebird stuff too.
what day is it this year
i'm looking for a '70 camaro 49.20" driveshaft from th350 or 4 speed car
That is damn near impossible to find. The only guys who really want those are concours correct guys, and theyll pay good money for them.
If youre not going concours correct, have a later one made to length.
The Monroe swap meet is the weekend of May 20
