Big Block Small Block parts interchange?

    I think I asked this once but I can't find the thread or remember the answers. What can you use from on to the other, Distributor, fuel pump, stater etc? In other words if you went from a small block to a big block or visa verse what could you reuse?

    motor mounts

    carb linkage

    alternator

    You for got some of the hardware like bolts and stuff.

    Power steering, but you need the BB brackets

    FUEL PUMP IS DIFFERENT!

    Thats what I thought but it has been a while for a small block for me. I am a bbc guy

    THIS IS WHAT I USED FOR BOTH..
    radiator
    starter
    motor mounts
    ft springs (after AC delete) weighed the same
    dist
    coil
    Alternator, but the brackets were different



    p/s, got ripped out

    But I can tell you for fact, the fuel pump is different.

    hey 1973, I hope I didn't sound like a jerk, had to run to lunch and didn't realize caps lock was on...:)

    Pulley's are different as well
