pretty much every time I pop onto this site I "win a $1000 gift card" and I have to close the whole window out and then come back on the site for it to go away. Half the time it pops back up!

I don't get those but I am running an ad blocker that counts to twenty or so everytime I enter the site. I'm also a Gold Member (Austin Powers) so maybe that helps.

I get no ads when I use Ghostery and Ad Block Plus which are both free.

I'm a Lifetime Gold Member also, but it doesn't make any difference.....I was under the impression that we wouldn't see all of that crap, just the non-paying members would get run over with ads. But there are ads at the (2) across the top and again at the bottom and down the entire right side of the screen.

    Might try this...

Seems to work for me on Chrome.
Nothing on the top or bottom or sides.

Something I use that seems to help, hit the Esc button on the keyboard as soon and the main text part of the post appears. Stops the loading dead usually.

Try ublock origin. It's available for Firefox and Chrome. Has lower resource usage and better performance than AdBlock. I see zero ads, anywhere and everywhere.

I agree with NeoNeuro. My latest version of Firefox came with ublock already installed. It is much better than AdBlock which hogs resources and slows my machine down. Ublock doesn't slow the machine.
