Looking into changing over to EFI
Spectra makes a fuel pump that goes into our existing tank.
Is it capable of handling the FiTech 600 hp

that setup in a stock tank (although I think that is for their EFI tanks) will have all sorts of fuel slosh issues.

I am not sure if that means stock tank or not. Regardless do your homework, the biggest complaint with their EFI are crap pumps, followed by fuel slosh issues, which is a stock tank will be worse.

My 82 TA had a baffleless tank from GM and 1/4 tank and lower gave me issues, and that was with TBI running at 18 psi, not high pressure. Never again.

The tank, pump and sending unit is $500 plus shipping

    I have a $1500 budget
If I can't do it for that,I'll have to stick with the carb.

I'm mulling this over as well. Rumor has it that the system is better w/ EFI plus computer controlled spark. My issue is crap gas and not driving the thing rotting the carb, not with the carb itself. Thinking of putting a valve in the line and running the carb out of gas.
