I picked some tire choices on tirerack and I sized up for the fronts 215/70 15's on the back I'm going with 255/70 15's do these sizes sound like they will work ok?

Brands that they match up for are BF Goodrich TA's, Firestone firehawk Indy 500's, or Yokohama AVID s/t's...... any oppinion on brans I've only had yokohamo's out of all the brands on here

    thanks

I will assume you are running stock 15x7" wheels

You will be much happier with a 235/60R15 up front and a 245/60R15 out back. The car will corner, brake and accelerate much better than with the 70 series tires you previously names.
If you want the big's n little's look than go 225/60R15 up front and 255/60R15 in back, but on the stock wheels the 255's are a tight fit on some cars

I'd be looking at the Yokohama AVID S/T as it has a higher speed rating than the other tires out there

Thanks! I should mention that I have US Wheel 15x8's for the front and 15x10's for the back. That should help a bit. I hope I assume they bolt up like the stock ones for backspacing and all. A lot of the problem is that I don't understand all the numbers on the tires which is the width and which is the height? I want the look with a wide tire on the back and a thinner tire on the front.

    A 255/70/15 won't even fit!

I was planning 245/60/15 all around, but finding in stock anywhere them has proven to be a challenge.

Do you know what your backspacing on the wheels is?
