Does anyone know where the VIN # is located on a 1969 Corvette? I did not see it at the base of the drivers side windshield. Where sould I be looking?

    Thanks,

It's stamped on the inner vertical surface of the left windshield pillar and is visible through the windshield. Got the book 1953-93 right here. Rich

Don't blame you I for sure would buy it if I had the chance.I have a neighbor that has a 64 Vette conv thats been sitting in his garage about twelve years getting covered with junk. Didn't really know if the car was still there, but he had to get the garage door replaced so he had to clean it out some , yeah still there. The three neighbors closer to him all into old cars.53 Chevy,53 Ford, 67 Nova so I'm afraid thers's alot of interest.Just got back from the store ran to another Vette buddy , his car is still not finished he's getting an overdrive auto put in his 66 Vette conv. 502 crate motor.
