I used a heat gun it wasn’t sticking at all until I heated it. It was also only 30 degrees when I did most of it

One of the extra spots on fuse panel is ignition power you can hook it up to that.
I think they mean powered with ignition on. The radio wouldn’t work when running if it only had power with acc.

That is exactly how it’s supposed to sit, on an angle like that. I also noticed on mine I had to cut some sheetmetal to get the rod to fit...
