$1000 '70 LS1/T56 swap

    Its hard to do much with a 2.41 peg leg axle and a rear window that we found
    out (on the 110 mile round trip shake down run) is just sitting on the rubber!:eek:

    Luckily it didnt fly out.

    Wow is right, its my wifes car, so she was driving, I was following in a friends
    '68 Camaro Convertible. She started hearing a strange squeak and was not
    sure about the temp she was seeing on the AutoXray. I switched cars to sit
    in the rear seat and watch the scanner. Everything checked out, but when I
    put my fingers against the glass where it sits on the rubber, I could feel the
    rear window bouncing on the freeway....

    Check your glass guys, the glue they used in the 70s is awful.

    Was the glue original? My front and rear glass have both been replaced

    There is just something not right with pulling all that from under the car. I did my 1st one a couple of weeks ago. Keep us up on progress
