Has anyone run 17x8 wheels with a 4.5 backspacing on all four corners?

If so pictures? I just came across a local ad for the exact wheels I want with this setup but 1/3 the cost.

    Would appreciate any input!

Stock are 15x7 with 4.5" BS. You should be fine with an 8" wheel, there is plenty of room in the wheel wells for the extra wheel width.

This site has had a lot of the same questions answered 10x over in the last 20 years. Try a search if you can’t get the answers you need quick. There is actually a fitment guide as a sticky in this forum.

Totally agree.. I am much more or a lurker than a question asker. If I actually post its only after I've searched this forum and others online. I was unable to find a clear answer on whether they would work on the rear... Everyone said they would work on the front so I was unsure

Steel 15x7 Z-28 wheels and 15x7 N90's have 4.25" BS so with a 4.5" BS on an 8" wide rim you are pushing the wheel lip out .25 and the inside wheel lip in .75. 4.5" BS is a very common BS for aftermarket 8" wide wheels but when you add some wide rubber and lower the car you can get rub near where the fender well bolts to the fender arch. There is more room in further to tolerate more than 4.5" BS but the wheel selection drops.

I went for 4.75" BS and they fit close but no rub yet.
