I have installed my dash pad and it has the usual issue with the front dash edge lifting.
I am wanting to glue/attach a couple of small tabs or brackets to aid in holding that edge down tight to the dash lip.
I know the Lord Fusior works very good but its super pricey for a one time small use deal.
The black material they formed the dash with looks like it may be an ABS type of plastic.
I am hoping someone can suggest an adhesive that will get her done!
    Thanks all .

If you want it to harden like a rock, then use this.

    Thanks for that suggestion Mark.
Wish I had an open tube. Pricey like fusior.
I have used the PL 400 on a sub floor in the past and it sticks like $hit to a blanket !
I did try fast cure Urethane (windshield grade) with no luck.
I roughed up the surface (small square inset) where the factory forgot to put in the two extra retaining studs that would have most likely would have solved this problem.
No luck with that for anyone reading this.
If Lord Fusior had a savvy marketing team they would sell that product in mini tubes suitable for the hobby guys etc.
I know it worked for loctite! They sell mini doses at every parts counter daily.

If you do use it, remember to pile weights on the top to hold it down for 24 hrs.

The weights are a great idea Mark.
Still curious what type material that the dash pad backing is made from.
Must be an ABS composite like the cluster housing.

image.jpg When i did mine it had the tipical curl to it, i peeled the pad back heated it and stretched it over the backing. I epoxied it probably with fusior and drilled the edge and pop riveted it to the backing. Once it's installed u can't see the rivets.

How did it look after installation Bill?
Any distortion over the course of time from the stretching?

Still looks like I did it yesterday, probably been about two years since i did it, people can't believe it's an original dash.
