    Hey All!
I am wondering if anyone has a pic of a survivor car or restored 1970 that shows the fuel tank straps at the rear of the car.
I am wondering if there are tube spacers that slip over the 3/8 studs to limit the tension on these cars?
    Thanks

The assembly manual shows part number 3992539 spacers used there.

No spacers on mine since 1981. They were added on 03/03/70 in the assembly manual. Iā€™m sure Home Depot would have spacers in different lengths that you could shorten. Spacer 3992539 is 0.63ā€ O.D. X 0.43ā€ I.D x 1.12ā€ long.

    Very COOL :bowtie:
I see so many cars that don't have them.
    Thanks for all the replies!
Does anyone have a measurement on the tube length?

In Post#3 the length is listed as 1.12". That sounds about right.
