I need to purchase a new (or used) carpet guard that attaches to the inside firewall that holds down the carpet (mine is missing). I'll either purchase an aftermarket guard (reproduction) or buy a nice used one. I'd like to find a used guard in good shape, but I can't seem to find an original GM part number. Does anyone know the GM part number for the guard used on a 1971 Z28?
Has anyone had any luck with the fit of the aftermarket guards as far as fit goes?

According to the AIM, it is PN 3994785. This in my research is the same as 333707 which is very easy to find and is the same as the repops. This is different than the 1970 3973924.

I have a good used 333707 if your interested $25 shipped. Could use a light spray of SEM black to look new has light wear at the very top. No cracks or damage. 20190902_213126.jpg 20190902_213753.jpg 20190902_213806.jpg

Anyone have a photo of the 3994785? Iā€™d like to see the difference to a 3973924

So, the ā€˜785 looks just like the ā€˜924 used in 1970. The drawing in the AIM makes it look the same as the ā€˜707 with the extension over the ebrake cable removed
