Just picked up this 79 Berlinetta last week. I had a 78 z28 but it needed more body work than I had the time to tackle, so I traded a buddy of mine for this...

Everything looks to be original so far, factory 305 and still has the factory air (needs to be fixed though). I am thinking to keep it original, maybe freshen up the 305 and add a little performance.

Welcome to NastyZ28! The car looks to be in great shape! Post up some interior shots.

Take some close up shots of the tail lights too. Im curious about that. I dig those wheels!

    Looks tidy :)

Few bits aren't original Berlinetta but it looks better for the changes :)

Yeah the tail lights were painted by the previous owner (they were in bad shape). I would like to get some new ones but they are pretty expensive...around $250 for a new pair from what I have been pricing out so far. The spoiler was also added, which I prefer.

I will upload some interior pics later on.

Looks like they are painted with Testors translucent red. Pretty common with 3rd gens.

    Nice buy

Very nice purchase. What are the tire sizes front and back? Air shocks in the back? The look is very clean. Welcome to the site.
