I will be starting my build soon, picked up an LQ4 6.0L and 4L80e combo. I'm planning to have the short block rebuilt with LQ9 Pistons for higher compression. Currently want to get Texas speed LS6 stg2 heads, LS6 intake and a nasty cam. Would be nice to be able to run an LS6 intake with truck accessories... There's a company that fabs those early gen3 intakes to accept a 90mm TB, may do that too. I'm hoping for 430rwhp.

All these plans and haven't even received the pallet yet!! Haha

Also, this will be my second LS swap. I did a 5.3LM7 and 700r4 combo(tuned as manual trans, spaced flywheel and hydraulically shifted) in a 1986 irocZ28.

I'm using some older ATS adapter plates and poly mounts in my 71. I'm setting it as far back as I can because I am using a Super T10. It'll be a while before I can actually get to work on it though.
