My 2000 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab 3.3L V6 has just about 277,000 miles. I bought it brand new. Best vehicle I have ever owned by far.

My old 2005 Tahoe made it 360,000 in 8 years before I got rid of it. Was still running, but had a light engine tick and was belching smoke out the tailpipe at times....Carmax didn't care and gave me $2500 for it on the trade in.

I had a 2005 F-150 FX4 that I dearly loved. Engine ticked from 50,000 miles on and at 120,000 my transmission started to go out. Never towed anything. Always drove highway. I was very disappointed to have to trade it instead of dumping $8,500 in it for a new transmission.

I change the oil every 3-4thousand and the transmission every 50 thousand. I'm also a firm believer in Lucas.

My Suburban 5.3 is at 249,6xx and still going. Was a service vehicle till I bought it at 101k miles 10 years ago. I'm going to retire it soon, been looking for a decent pre '73 C10/C20 with a manual trans.

Father in law's 2004 5.3L Suburban has 270k+. Motor still runs fine. Only issues are small cosmetics.

I agree. My 2003 Ford Ranger 3.0 5 speed has 305k on her. Running like a champ still. Only big maintenance is a new head (same price as valve job at machine shop) at 248k.
