540 Big Block 81 Camaro build

    Thanks Zeder, I am installing frame connectors, a 4-point roll bar with cross section and solid body mounts in hopes to prevent the twisting from the 540. I plan to use a 9" brake booster from Detroit Speed, this will allow me to use tall valve covers. I have many parts off of the block as I plan to repaint it and put a new set of pullys on her. As for the AC I found vintageair.com, They sell a under the dash Ac that will clear up some room under the hood.

    I am looking at a all Fiber glass front end... Hood, fenders, inner fender wells etc. Anyone have any experience with these?

    plan on driving the car on the road? crash worthyness?

    also, the steel is structural. it was night and day how stiff my car got just when i put in the inner fenders. i would expect to have to do alot of reinforcement to have performace out of a fiberglass front end.


    looking good so far, lots of work done alredy and a long way to go. keep pluging away
