I am a new Camaro owner having just been given a 1977 Camaro by my uncle. Is it possible to replace the 1977 sheet metal with 1970-73 pieces so that the car looks like a 70-73 Camaro? Thanks for the help.

yes. the front end sheet metal in interchangable. but you may need some additional brackets - especially if you're converting it into an RS with a split bumper... do a search on the site, you'll find tons of posts on this topic.

Looks like another owner dissatisfied with the unique looks of the 74-77 aluminum bumpers.

'unique' is definitely one way to put it ;)

my first car was a 74. its what got me interested in Camaros. that bad boy was a bruiser.. i didn't care about bumping into anything. when i bought my 78 and i was always worried about rubbing my nose or tearing it on the curb when i parked. but my 71, thats by far my favorite. the split bumper makes it look so mean. like it'll bite your head off if you mess with it.
