Does anyone which belt would work for a 74 L82 motor with standard alternator but without the air pump? I took a measurement to see what I can find at a part store.

My 78 Camaro (305 V8) had no air pump but it had A/C.
(I used the bracket assembly from my 78 on my 80 and kept the A/C.)

This is the belt AutoZone shows for that setup.
I'm pretty sure it will work for your 74.

    Personally, I use Gates belts.
Sorry, I don't know the cross reference number for the Gates brand but I could look under the hood when I get home.

I think both numbers(15450 and 15450DR)will be right for your car.
    they are 45'' long.
If you need a little bit longer look for something like this number 15455(half inch)

Appreciate everyone’s insight. I went to advanced auto parts and bought the 15445 and I will try that one out. Thanks again.

I pulled that 15445 number from the link someone sent above and reference without air-conditioning and without the air pump. I will respond back if that’s a good one.

15445 is what i have been using on regular small blocks for 30 years. I probably bought a hundred of them or more.

Worst case you buy a few close ones and see which fits better.
