I hope that’s not true because I just priced out a speartech harness

I could be wrong but it didn't look like a lt1/4 with 4l75e (or 4l80e) was supported

I'll most certainly need it! I'll do more research into it. I'm not locked into the lt1/4 just yet...I can still get an lsa or lsx! Can't change my tranny though, since I already got the torque converter and adapter plate....too lazy to go through the return process.

Alright, a rep from speartech got back to me, for my application I would need to select their harness with a manual transmission and get an independent controller. Anyone recommend good ones for a 4l75e? I was looking into TCI and a lot of people suggest it, input from you guys would be appreciated.

He also suggested I contact "Rick's Tanks" to get a fuel tank and correct pump so I can replicate GM's configuration. From what I noticed they don't make a tank for my car. This is the current tank I have ready to be bought. Can anyone suggest a good alternative since this tank doesn't come with the right pump.

I will reach out to Rick's tanks and see if they plan on making anything for my year camaro just in case.

edit: Rick got back to me, wanted $1900 for a tank and fuel pump...I think I died a little inside....but that's primarily due to the fact it would need custom fabrication work since they don't carry my tank. I'll do some research when I get home.....$1900 for a strap on fuel tank is absurd in my opinion.

I'm having trouble keeping up with all this. Are you still using the modern LT1 motor the direct injection one?

I'm on the fence between an lt1 and lt4 from a modern camaro/corvette.
I don't want an LS, and I know going with an LT makes this more complicated...that's what makes it fun (and sadly more expensive)
Right now I'm strongly considering just going for the lt4 and calling it a day, if I get an lt1 it would be so I just buy a super charger later.......but why not just buy it all now right?

I know I've been a bit wishy washy, and that's primarily because what I originally bought I was told wasn't going to work so I got all my money back and started to do more research on the subject.
