    WOW! I'm impressed!

    Keep us posted.

Post pics of the rear gears when you take out the carrier.

Just thought I would update you on the status of the ring gear. Heidts support is very good!
This Month I had the local Hotrod shop ordering me new upper and lower tubular A-arms from Heidts and at the same time Heidts just sent them a new ring gear for free. Just thought I would let you know they support their product. I am very impressed! I haven't had the car on the road yet to see if this gear is quieter or not though.
I am having the Hotrod shop put in a new 496 stroker and the Heidts upper/lower a-arms and coil over shocks. I can't wait to see how it drives.
They said I may have it this weekend.

I wanted to thank you all for your help during this project!
    This is an awesome website.

Here's a pic of it from today.

How long did you own that rear before it caused problems, the OP had a problem at 150 miles or the start of his new install.

Day 1, Moser told me it was pinion angle.

That response sounds like a Disclaimer not a fix...I have a new Strange diff center with 4:11 which I'll be swapping out, it'll be interesting to see how everything was set up, good luck with the pinion angle brush off, I guess Moser thinks we're all idiots!

Ok, I'm a noob compared to guys at Moser, but howling R&P due to pinion angle that's hard to believe for me... Drive shaft vibration leading to a leaking seal ok, but howling?

935F8366-1730-4229-BA16-7A37AFC1F7B3.png I told them that. Even in good faith I went and adjusted it all over the place and not the slightest change. The leak is coming from the bearing support where it meets the housing.
