    I also have an AEM. I'll echo what was said about compromise, and fuel injection. If you have OCD, and want to get a carb running perfect everywhere through the pedal....it will beat you up. Especially if you have a bit of a cam in it.

    Agree. Especially idle mixture. I try to ignore the gauge when setting idle mixture and use a vacuum gauge instead. It reads rich on the meter when set that way but the car doesn't like it any leaner.

    I do use the meter to adjust WOT and cruise (between 14 & 14.5).
