P1230767.JPG P1230769.JPG Yeah, I still have my '71 SS 396 4sp. But it needs attention, and I got this to carry me over while the Camaro gets some needed TLC.

Early '67 SS 327. Engine was warmed over. Cam, ported 461X 2.02 heads. Ported exhaust manifolds and intake. Externally stock. Heavily worked TH200 OD trans and Converter. 3:73 rear posi.

Nova is just as much a Chevy muscle car as Camaro, so, no, you aren't a traitor.

Nope. Not a traitor. Such a cool car. I've wanted one as long as I can remember.

Now that's a Nova. I tried to buy a black one that was a 283. I was 17. It was really hopped up. The guy that was selling took me for a ride. Talk about scared pooless. He basically told me to come back in a few years if he still had it. He would not sell B/C I was too green to handle that much machine. He also said never punch it in a turn B/C of the posi would send me in a direction that would not end well. He was probably right.

Beautiful car! I think I read that the very first Camaro development/test cars were cobbled together mules made from Chevy II's. There IS a connection.:bowtie:
