Finally after years of putting it off I have finished the last patch that completes my floor pan repairs.

I had the usual rot where the heater core pissed, some driver side rot around the brake and gas pedals and both rear corners where I believe the rear windshield leaked.

I have dug out all of the old seam sealer and applied new stuff.

My last patch was a small spot on the drivers side rear.

When I first got the car around 10 years ago and pulled up the carpet I never thought I would ever see this day. I had no idea how to go about these repairs but this site has been great as far as information and motivation goes.

I bought a welder, took a welding class at the local community college and just did it.

Now that I am retired and have more time I am making great progress.

Sooner or later it will be done.

Patch cut and painted in the center with weld thru primer on the edges

Patch fits good enough no one is ever going to see it

Patch welded it was a tough place to weld back in the corner, once it warms up a bit I will paint the top, apply seam sealer, and call it good
