Looks interesting. Not sure of the reviews though? I've had a few TKO's and liked them but wanted some info on the McLeod.

I do like the over drive option of I believe a .75 on that. I couldn't imagine a tko600 with a .63 it would be literally worthless in my car. The t56 magnum's .8 is ideal for me--so I imagine the .75 would be close.

I thought the .63 OD in my TKO 600 might be too tall, but it actually works very well for what I do. I don't have a ton of power, maybe 475hp, but it allows me to pull past 135mph (gps) and keep climbing, which I would do if I had any confidence in my tires above that speed. And at cruising speeds, it will lope along nicely at 2300 rpm somewhere around 75mph. My tach and speedo are suspect but thats the ballpark that I remember from last cruise. I have 3.73 rear and stock size tires.

3.73 with a set of 28.5 inch tall tires.
Going to 4.30 next as I feel that'll be the best all around gear with this set up.
I cant hit over drive until 70 due to my camshaft.

That's a tall tire. My t56 and 390s are good, but 26" tires

I run the TKO600, .64 5th gear, 4.10 gears and a 28" (235/70-15) rear tires. Tach and speedo calibrated though both are stock and original to my 71 Z28. Turns a touch over 2200rpm in 5th at 70mph. During this year's HRPT we spent a great deal of time on secondary roads at 55 to 65mph. Either a lot of rpm in 4th or lugging in 5th. Contemplating a change to a shorter rear tire.

I don’t know of anyone. I highly contemplated it years ago, but they failed to release it as promised.
