    I watched it live. WOW.

I am impressed with the tech and the company. Not afraid to try, not afraid to fail. Like NASA in the old days. Makes me have faith again in the USA.

I saw a video of them bringing the last Falcon9 back to base. Those rockets are freaking HUGE. Took the biggest rig out there to haul the special trailer.

Like I said in my Pluto thread, this is beyond amazing to me.
I am so glad I lived long enough to see the last year, and throw in the Mars stuff, I've seen more then my fair share!!!!

I sure would love to see the next step, but I understand it won't happen.
I just hope all you young guys appreciate just how amazing this is.
I can't even imagine what the really old people think of this stuff compared to what they expected growing up in the 10's-20's-30's.

Elon Musk is the man spear heading the future. NASA has become a government blackhole that only releases information deemed acceptable to society.

Watch some of the ISS feeds where they inexplicably experience communication failure when certain unexplainable anomalys occur. They certainly withhold or intentionally sever their live feeds when they have a UFO in the camera. Sometimes for hours.

I'm VERY excited for a future of private space exploration at low cost and to the benefit of mankind, rather than the exploitation of tax dollars that give you the coconut shell but not the meat inside.

That's where the public is at . Our Space program for the masses.

The government space research makes that look like horse and buggy tech.

What's amazing to me is the government spends way more for the same function,
but they don't have enough fuel left to land.
I think the landing is exponentially harder then the launch???
IIRC the rockets are something like 20,000 MPH, and they get it to land on a tiny dot in the ocean!!!!
That is beyond amazing, with the Earth's rotation, wind, and no flux capacitor!!!!
