Universal but correct in most applications answer. My right side pipe is really close, I put some high temp header wrap around the exhaust pipe.

I would go with hubedobeedo, THERMAL BARRIER TAPE, or Exhaust Wrap or both, but in the same instance you might have to dimple the exhaust pipe. This is one of the main reasons I am going with turn downs right after the axle, there is simply NO Clearance for the tail pipes.. Anyway ——-> thermal barrier tape OR exhaust wrap!!

I just reworked some old pipes I have because of the same clearance issues by the gas tank. Same 3 inch tubing but just bent better.

Can you get a picture if possible ? I would rather modify the gas tank than the exhaust for clearance .It all depend on just how much room you have, I use a sump stock gas tank and my stock from muffler to tip exhaust pipe on mine. So clearance isnt an issue.

Just looked over their website, there here in Scottsdale AZ, interesting for a couple reasons, 1. They are mostly Pontiac oriented, but they do cater to some Chevy stuff.
Download the catalog, they have a lot of go fast stuff.
