It was 79 degrees when I left Honolulu on Sunday at 5:55 PM. When I landed in Minneapolis about 8 hours later at 4:50 AM it was -5.

After we landed, I zipped the legs onto my shorts so I had "long" pants on.

Our jackets were in the trunk of the car.

Problem was, there was 6" of snow on top of the car, so I had to brush the snow off in my shirt sleeves while my wife waited inside.

No big deal, as it was only -5 and the wind was relatively calm at 5 - 10 MPH.

It's not like that is really cold weather.

This weekend they are predicting moderately cold temps for my area with a low of -24F.

Glad I live in southern MN now so I don't have to deal with severe cold weather anymore... :D

My advice is to get a better snowblower. Mine fires up with a 1 second tap on the starter every time.

    Finally back home!!!
I have to go back to the Chicago area over the weekend. Hopefully the snow is done falling and roads cleared by the time I get back to my semi. I'm not looking forward to that trip (or to going back for another stint on the road with my current company)

Just checked, the odd's went down a little, now it's 50-50 snow for Fri-Sat & Sun??
Plus should start later today which is perfect for me, have to spend the afternoon at the VA again.
So hopefully I get home before it starts, it was supposed to start in the afternoon.

Heck yeah and would put it to work!
This is the road to my house looking east standing at the end of my driveway after a winter storm about 3 years ago. Dont know if that Camaro would be able to get through it but I would have a blast trying!! :D
