    Hi Everyone,

I will be installing a Vintage Air A/C system in my '81, Z28. The car was a factory A/C car, but the original heater, A/C and firewall pad were removed long ago. I plan to install a new firewall pad, but I'm curious about what pad I should use? The Vintage Air system doesn't use the original firewall penetrations, so would I be better off to use a non A/C pad? I'm thinking that maybe a firewall pad for heater-A/C delete would be the best option, if available.

For those who have installed aftermarket A/C, how did you address this issue?

Thanks in advance for your comments...

I got a pad from Tamraz that has all the holes punched for all options, but they left the material in the holes so that you only open the ones you need. It worked out well with my Vintage Air setup since I basically left all the holes filled.
