good cyl heads for a race engine that lives in the 3800 to 6800rpm with a compression ratio of 11.0:1 minimum ,and i would say they're not that streetable if you've got to run that mandated compression ratio

Got the pair bare for 250.
I have a vortec 377 (stock bore 3.75 stroke) with 5cc dished pistons, with a thin enough head gasket these would meet that 11-1 right?

I believe the -8's have been around for many many years. Other than the larger 2.08 intake valve, they look like rather tame cylinder heads with only a 194 cc intake runner. Look like they come packaged with roller springs which may or may not work for you, but otherwise don't look any racier than Edelbrock/Patriot/etc.

if they are bare heads you get to set them up the way you want..
but I would have them looked at very closely for that price...

if they check out then you got a pretty good deal.
